✨ New Art Release: Blue Reverie ✨

Blue-tongued skinks have always symbolized adaptability and change to me. Lizards survive just about anything, and they remind us how important it is to stay flexible, resilient, and willing to grow through whatever life throws our way.

This piece is super special. I actually started it right when I first got Procreate and began learning digital art. It has evolved with me through the years and has been a “return to” piece with every new skill I learn through all of my difference phases I’ve been in. ( & all the skins I’ve shed 😉). Finishing it now feels like perfect timing.

This year, well maybe the past two years, have been some of the most challenging times of my life. Three massive life changes and four moves across two states in two years will absolutely test you to say the least😅. But I’ve learned how resilient I am. I can survive any situation I get thrown into, and I can adapt faster than I ever thought I could. Blessed and stressed, but loving life nonetheless.

The blue tones and symbol in this piece also connect to the throat chakra- the center of communication, expression, truth, and creativity. It’s about finding your voice and using it, which has been fitting for the season I’ve been in since starting this piece.

Through everything, I feel like all of the confusing & chaotic moments are starting to make sense. I’m headed in a direction I never expected, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! Life changes fast & I’ve shed a lot of skins the past 3 years… but I’m so excited to see where life goes next.
